Happy Ad Friday!

Here we are with another week of sales!  While I’ve been out and about I’ve seen cherries on a Manager Special for $1.99/lb and brisket for $2.49/lb at Randalls, and a bunch of bagged salad marked down at the HEB of Broken Dreams (Oltorf & South Congress).  weeklyads

Happy Ad Thursday

Last week was a good week for Cheepie! Lots of good sales and lots of clicks. Keep sharing the link with friends you think would like to know the deals! It’s a bit slower this week, but there’s still summer produce, and cheap chicken parts and pork.

Peaches are under 97-99c/lb at Randalls, Fiesta, & HEB, they do get a bit cheaper, but it’s still a good price, and hey, you might want peach cobbler.  There’s a last gasp for corn as well, at HEB for 25c/ear.

If somehow you didn’t hit the giant cheese sale at Randalls, Sprouts has cheddar cheese for $2.99/lb. It’s still a good deal, even if it doesn’t match the $1.76/lb from last week!

For a treat, crab cakes are on sale at Central Market–2 for $7! I love those things, so might splurge for a change.

While we’re talking seafood, this was in the Sprouts circular, but I don’t suggest you buy them. They’re not a deal, and they look super…orange. And seaweed casing?

Happy shopping, Cheepsters!

Weekly Flyer Links:

It’s not in their ad but Randalls has strawberries for 97c/1 lb pkg. That’s a good deal!

And of course you know berries freeze well because you’ve been living on smoothies because it’s 3rd ring of hell hot, right?  Just cut the tops off and throw them in a freezer bag, it’ll be grand.

Even if you’re not usually a Randalls shopper,  between this and the 88c cheese it’s worth a stop.

Happy Ad Friday!

It’s hot. Half the tabs I have open in Chrome are cocktail recipes, because it’s too hot to cook.  I’m hiding inside and only leave if there’s a promise of icy beverages involved. Welcome, Summer!

My kids are living on fruit and sandwiches, and they’re lucky there’s a lot of fruit on sale.  Peaches, cantaloupes and cherries are all on sales this week. Large mangos are on sale everywhere, but they’re cheapest at Randalls, at 50c/ea.

If you’re grilling (please don’t turn the oven on. it’s too hot. don’t even look at the stove. the wok? seriously, you’re asking about the wok? fine, wok away, chucklehead.) pork roast, pork chops and chicken leg quarters are all cheep.

If you want a certain kind, you might have to visit a few times!

SPECIAL BUY: Randalls has 88c/ 8oz pkgs of block, slices or shredded cheese. That’s the cheapest price per pound since Sprouts stopped doing their $1.99/lb bulk cuts of one kind of cheese per week,so STOCK UP. Cheese freezes well! The blocks will become a bit crumbly, but still taste fine.

Here’s the list, happy shopping!
